Refund & Cancellation Policy Last Updated: September 9, 2026 This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to purchases, subscriptions, and other paid services provided through Engage for Teams (“Engage”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing or subscribing to the Service, you acknowledge and agree to this Policy, subject to any mandatory rights provided by applicable law. 1. Payments Engage may offer its services through: • Recurring subscriptions; • One-time purchases; • Other pricing or billing models made available through the Service. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. At the time of this Policy, payments may be processed through Paddle, which may act as the Merchant of Record for applicable transactions. The payment provider may be responsible for processing payments, issuing receipts or invoices, and handling certain payment-related requests. 2. Subscription Cancellation If you have an active subscription, you may cancel it at any time through the available account or subscription management functionality or by contacting us at: info@engageforteams.com Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancellation will generally prevent the subscription from renewing for the next billing period. Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. You will generally continue to have access to the applicable paid features until the end of the period that has already been paid for, unless otherwise stated at the time of cancellation or required by applicable law. 3. Refunds for Subscriptions Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis where circumstances justify a refund, including: • A duplicate payment; • An incorrectly processed payment; • A significant technical issue that prevented reasonable use of the Service; • A billing error attributable to Engage; • Other circumstances where we determine that a refund is appropriate. Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory refund or cancellation rights that may apply under the laws of the customer’s jurisdiction. 4. One-Time Purchases For one-time purchases, customers may request a refund by contacting: info@engageforteams.com Refund requests should include: • The email address associated with the account; • Transaction or order information, if available; • A description of the reason for the request. We may review the request and determine whether a refund, replacement access, service credit, or another appropriate remedy is appropriate. Where a purchased service has already been substantially used, an event has already been conducted, or an application has already been executed, a refund may not be appropriate unless required by applicable law or the issue was caused by a significant failure of the Service. 5. Technical Problems and Service Errors We understand that technical problems may occasionally occur. If you experience a technical issue affecting your use of Engage, please contact us at: info@engageforteams.com We may investigate the reported issue using available technical information, system logs, event information, application configuration, screenshots, timestamps, and other relevant information. Where we determine that a significant technical problem materially prevented the intended use of the Service, we may, depending on the circumstances: • Fix or restore the Service; • Provide replacement access; • Extend the applicable subscription period; • Provide service credit; • Provide a partial or full refund; or • Provide another reasonable remedy. Technical investigation and support do not automatically create an entitlement to a refund. Minor bugs, temporary interruptions, isolated errors, compatibility issues, or issues that do not materially prevent use of the Service will not necessarily qualify for a refund. 6. Event and Application Results Engage provides applications that may generate assignments, selections, results, rankings, or other outputs based on the rules and configuration selected by the organization or planner. A refund will not generally be provided solely because: • A participant did not receive a desired result; • A participant did not win a reward; • A participant disagrees with an application result; • An organization changes its event rules; • A participant does not achieve the expected outcome; • A randomized assignment produces an undesired result. Where an application uses automated randomization, results are generated by the applicable software logic without manual selection by Engage. If a user or organization believes that a technical error materially affected an application result, they may contact us so that we can investigate the relevant event and system information. 7. Third-Party Payment Provider Issues Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Paddle. Engage is not responsible for failures, delays, declines, reversals, chargebacks, unauthorized transactions, payment processing errors, outages, or security incidents originating from a third-party payment provider’s systems. Where a payment issue originates from the payment provider, customers may also be required to follow the provider’s applicable payment, refund, dispute, or chargeback procedures. If a payment was successfully charged but the corresponding Engage service was not properly activated due to an issue within Engage’s systems, we will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve the issue. 8. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions If you believe that a payment was made without your authorization, you should contact us promptly at: info@engageforteams.com You may also need to contact your bank, card issuer, or applicable payment provider. We may investigate suspected fraudulent transactions and may request information reasonably necessary to verify the transaction. Where the transaction was processed by a third-party payment provider, that provider may have its own procedures for unauthorized transactions and payment disputes. 9. Chargebacks We encourage customers to contact us before initiating a chargeback where the issue concerns the Service, billing, cancellation, or a refund request. We will make reasonable efforts to investigate legitimate billing disputes and resolve them where appropriate. Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising rights provided by applicable law or by their payment provider or card issuer. 10. Refund Processing Where a refund is approved, the refund will generally be issued through the original payment method or through the applicable payment provider’s refund mechanism. The time required for a refund to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution. Engage does not control processing times imposed by third-party financial institutions. 11. Non-Refundable Circumstances Except where required by applicable law, a refund may be declined where: • The customer has substantially used the Service; • An event or application has already been conducted; • The customer simply changes their mind after substantial use; • The issue results from incorrect configuration by the organization or administrator; • The issue results from incorrect participant information supplied by the organization; • The issue results from misuse of the Service; • The issue results from unsupported devices, browsers, environments, or configurations; • The issue results from third-party services outside Engage’s reasonable control; • The customer has violated the Terms of Service. These circumstances do not prevent Engage from voluntarily providing a refund or other remedy where we determine that doing so is appropriate. 12. Organization Responsibility Where an organization purchases or subscribes to Engage on behalf of its employees, members, customers, participants, or community members, the organization is generally responsible for managing its own subscription, event configuration, participant information, and internal refund arrangements. Engage does not generally become responsible for disputes between an organization and its participants concerning prizes, rewards, event rules, eligibility, or the organization’s internal decisions. 13. Changes to This Policy We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Changes will not affect refund rights that have already accrued where such rights cannot legally be changed. 14.
